S&S, Evo high performance tappet assembly set. HL2T

With HL2T kit to help resist lifter bleed-down when parked. With special rollers and hydraulics. S&S tested up to 7800 RPM, without pump-up. Inner bearing race has an increased outside diameter so more and larger needle bearings could be used. Tappets are hand-fitted and pressure tested. Used in all S&S Evo type engines, but will also fit stock 84-99 Evo Big Twin (excl. Twin Cam) and 86-90 XL models. These lifters are compatible with virtually any engine application.

Note: Tappets with HL2T kit will prevent lifter bleed-down, will help improve cold starts and high-RPM valve timing accuracy but increases overall tappet weight.
Note: The use of HL2T kit equipped tappet will require the use of adjustable pushrods.
