BDL, 3" Street Drive belt drive kit. E-start, Polished

With ball bearing lock up clutch. No starter motor, no oil filter. This 3" electric start belt drive is designed to be used on 70-78 Shovelhead models with the ratchet top type 4-speed transmission, with rear chain only. Modifications are necessary to install this kit. Amongst others: When fitted to FX models, the oil tank bracket must be cut to allow proper fitment of the starter. On FL models this modification is not necessary. On both FL, FX models a L79-86 clutch arm (MCS 516400, OEM 37054-79A) must be used. Some clearancing work on this arm is needed. The Street Drive is, and has been, the standard in 3" open drives for years. Complete with the performance proven standard BDL (ETC) clutch. With 76-47 drive ratio.

Note: A BDL starter is available as 518658. Any other 89-93 model starter motor can also be used, as long as it has stock dimensions.
