Used inside the lower fork slider to guide the fork tube. Bushings are plated steel, the PTFE coated inner lining reduces friction / fork-stiction over other materials. This super slick surface provides smooth suspension and helps reduce friction and wear.

The SKF composite bushings are copper plated stainless steel, with a PTFE based inner lining to help reduces friction / fork-stiction better than other materials. To enhance heat dissipation during operation, a thin bronze layer forms a robust bond between the backing and sliding surface. The super slick sliding surface provides smooth suspension and does a great job in reducing friction and wear.
