Description
- No o-ring groove (early style)
- Fits Super B, D, E, G and 2-T (two throat) carbs.
Note: Never overtighten idle mixture screws in E and G carburetors. It is very easy to damage the angled idle mixture screw seat in soft aluminum carburetor housing. This is very hard or impossible to repair. It can result in irregular idling.
Note: The early style (approx. pre-2012) mixture screw (MCS 977815) is not interchangeable with the late style (approx. 2012-up) mixture screw (MCS 940521) o-ring type mixture screw. The late style carburetor body housing can be identified by the text 'Made In USA' next to the text 'SHORTY'.
