MOTO FORK OIL SYN 2.5W SYN 500 ML
- The Moto Fork SYN oils are composed of synthetic bases and reinforced with specific additives which confer upon them numerous qualities, and especially a high anti-wear capacity.
- What type of fork oil?
- Inverted fork: Inverted forks require a thinner oil with an SAE viscosity between 2.5 and 5. These forks are primarily used on off-road, enduro, and motocross motorcycles. They provide riders with better feel for the terrain. A viscosity grade of 5 may also be recommended for small 125cc motorcycles and small road bikes.
- Conventional fork: Conventional forks, which are fitted to road motorcycles, require oil with a viscosity index of 10 to 15, or even higher. Therefore, a rider with a sporty riding style who wants to prevent the fork from diving under even the slightest sudden braking will use a higher viscosity index (up to 20).
