Description
Replacement thermostat for 970733 offset oil filter adapter.
Supplied as a complete service kit, with gaskets, used to to install thermostatic actuator in Jagg's 970733 offset oil filter adapter.
Kit components are designed to keep the oil by-pass hole open until the oil surrounding the thermostatic actuator reaches 185ºF (85°C). The thermostatic actuator begins movement at 185ºF (85°C) and by 195ºF (90.6°C) closes the by-pass hole completely, sending 100% of the oil to the oil cooler.
