Description
.060" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material). Gasket for the OEM 60514-65 starter hole cover plate (block-off plate) used on the inner primary cover when a starter motor is not installed. OEM replacement reference 60518-65.
Cometic's AFM gaskets have an aluminum core with a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistant to over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing, gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required.
